Establishing a reputation as a brilliant session musician, working with reggae and ska icons like Prince Buster and Max Romeo, Jamaican trombonist Rico Rodriguez established a solo career at the turn of the Eighties having played in Jerry Dammers’ Specials. ‘That Man Is Forward’, originally released in 1980, was his debut, now remastered for its fortieth anniversary.
